1. CNC forming
When starting a new plastic injection molding project, plastic prototype parts ensure that product formulation is reasonable. For most plastic parts, CNC machining prototypes will give accurate inspection requirements. CNC lathe precision part machining allows you to test the shape, fit and function of plastic parts without having to produce mold tools.

Since all you need is a suitable CAD file, CNC lathe precision part machining is effective for small quantities of parts. Since there are no molds to create, you can save money and time by creating items immediately on a CNC lathe. CNC lathe precision parts processing has many advantages. This is a more accurate whole process than manual live processing, which ensures precise repetition. Because the computer controls the movement of the machine, the lathe can move precisely and simultaneously on the axes, creating complex, three-dimensional shapes that are almost impossible to achieve by hand. We generally control the overall dimensional tolerance between ±0.2mm–0.3mm. If tight dimensional tolerances are critical in your main industry, you can specify that we have dimensional tolerances tighter than 0.01".

 

For plastic components, CNC machining can produce stronger components than 3D printing due to the available materials and the production process itself. Thus, they can withstand the same standards as injection molded parts.
